M1280 LMTV (Light Medium Tactical Vehicle) is part of the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) family developed by Oshkosh Defense for the U.S. military. Its designation is part of a modernised program to replace aging High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs) with more capable and survivable platforms. M1101 is a 2.5-ton high-mobility light tactical trailer (LTT) that can be paired with the LMTV as a supplementary cargo platform for mission flexibility.
